Picasso Tiles Foldable Basketball Hoop Tent Review

This winter has been tough. It’s been FREEZING cold, so with a baby, we are stuck indoors a lot. This is tough for my toddler. He wants to run and play and there simply isn’t a lot of room to do that inside. Enter the Picasso Tiles Foldable Basketball Hoop Tent! This toy was gifted to us in exchange for an honest review and I must say it has been great for my toddler.

This basketball hoop from Picasso Tiles comes with 10 little balls that he can throw through the hoop. Throwing them in and then chasing the balls around is great for getting his energy out. He was so happy to play with this and requested it for days afterward.

The Bright Colors

The colors are really inviting for a toddler to play with. We even threw some learning in there with the balls as I had him name the different colors as he threw them into the hoop. Of course, he immediately found a way to “cheat” by throwing them in from the side. He was still having so much fun and burning energy, so who cares.

Easy to Use

The bottom of the pit is slanted toward the front so that the balls will roll down toward the hole at the bottom for easy retrieval. This design is great. My son didn’t even care about getting it in the hoop, he just liked to throw the balls in and watch them return.

Get that Energy Out!

Anything that occupies him and gets some of his endless energy out is a win in this house, especially during this brutal winter. I know we will get hours of entertainment from this and the best part is he is 100% self-sufficient with it, allowing mommy to tend to the baby, or maybe even get some work done!

A Foldable Basketball Hoop?

Yes! You heard me right, this great toy folds up really small into a carrying case so it is also great to take on the go if you are visiting someone that wouldn’t have any toys for your little one. I’ve had the experience of visiting friends without kids (or kids that are much older) and there is nothing for my toddler to do. He becomes a cranky mess and we often end up leaving early. Problem solved with this! I can now bring this along and he will be entertained for hours! The foldable aspect of this basketball hoop also makes it really easy to put away and store when not in use.
