Crescent Pizza Pockets

My delicious take on a hot pocket. Using crescent dough instead of pizza dough to make a great meal. Great as a side dish, dinner, or lunch. Enjoy fresh out of the oven, or wrap in plastic wrap and freeze. Then simply remove from freezer and reheat in oven. Toddler approved!

 premade crescent dough
 ½ cup pizza sauce
 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
Optional Toppings
 pepperoni
 sausage
 mushrooms
 olives

1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Separate crescent dough into triangles and roll out thin.

2

Spread sauce onto each triangle, leaving a border around the edge.

3

Add shredded mozzarella on top of sauce and any optional toppings.

4

Roll each triangle like a regular crescent, or fold corners up like a dumpling, and place on baking sheet.

5

Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until crescent is golden brown.
Serve and Enjoy!

Or if you prep ahead, wrap tightly and freeze. Then remove from freezer and reheat in oven as desired.
