Broccoli Cheddar Nuggets

Great alternative to chicken nuggets. Broccoli and cheddar chicken nuggets. Toddler approved and you can easily freeze for use at a later time. Hidden veggies to get your toddler to eat their greens!

 1 broccoli crown
 1 block (8oz) cheddar cheese, shredded (or more to hide the taste more)
 ½ cup breadcrumbs
 1 egg
 1 tsp garlic powder
 1 tsp onion powder
 1 tsp basil or other herb

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut broccoli crown up and steam until tender. Meanwhile, grease baking sheet.

Put broccoli into food processor or chop very small if you don't have a food processor.

Mix in remaining ingredients and mix well.

Using about 1-2 tbsp. at a time, roll mixture into a ball and then flatten and place on backing sheet about 1 inch apart.

Bake 15 minutes, then flip and bake an additional 10 minutes. If nuggets stick to the sheet, bake a little longer until nuggets come up easily.

Serve and Enjoy!
