My First Voxbox

What is a voxbox you ask? These boxes are sent to select influencers with a selection of free products from various brands in exchange for their reviews. I just got selected for my first one and I’m really excited to share these products with you!

I selected for the Cherish Voxbox. I was really excited to received this yellow box in the mail from Influenster and couldn’t wait to open it. Inside, I found a dog toy from Bark Box, a foam conditioner from Pantene, a spray antiperspirant from Dove Men, a perfume sample from Vera Wang, and a bottle of strawberry apple juice from Motts.

My first thought was that I was surprised at the variety and sizes of the products (a couple of which were actually full size). It was great how there was something for everyone! Now, admittedly my son doesn’t drink juice yet so I reviewed that personally, but it was the thought behind it that mattered.

Bark Box

My dog was very happy to get the new toy from Bark Box. It was a very cute design that made it look like a totam with some rope on either end.  My dog is known to destroy any and all toys in a matter of seconds. She has even torn apart toys that were specifically made to withstand heavy chewers! This stuffed toy from Bark Box was made very well. It stood up to her linger than any other stuffed toy has. I was very impressed with the quality and my dog was very happy!

Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Foam Conditioner

This foaming conditioner did exactly as was advertised! My hair felt much lighter after using it than it does with a traditional conditioner. This resulted in more volume, which is something I usually lack! It is definitely made for thinner, or at least shorter, hair than I have though. I had to use a significant amount to coat all of my hair (about three times as much as it said on the bottle). That being said, I still really liked the final result!

Vera Wang Perfume

This is a well-balanced perfume that isn’t too overpowering, which I like. I hate fragrances that seem to take over your senses, and this one does not. With the smell of lavender, mixed with vanilla and cocoa and a fruity hint, it is really intoxicating. Vera Wang continues to earn the reputation with this Embrace perfume!

Mott’s Sensibles Apple Raspberry Juice

I’m not a huge fan of juice usually, but this has a unique taste that was really good. The apple raspberry combination was surprisingly tasty. It has less sugar than regular apple juice and I could tell. One of the major reasons I don’t like juice is because it tends to be so sweet. That being said, the raspberry does add more sweetness, even without the sugar so too much of it at once would be overwhelming. For smaller amounts at a time, this is really good.

Dove Men Antiperspirant

My husband hates antiperspirant. He doesn’t like the way it feels. So try as I might, I couldn’t get him to give this dry spray a go. What is a girl to do but try it herself?!? I thought it was really light and was great on my sensitive skin. I didn’t wear it long enough to test it’s stain defense, but I would definitely believe it. It was effective and smelled great. Of course, I spent a day smelling a little manly to try this out, but I was really impressed by the product. Sometimes I wish there were products of this strength for women!
