Bacon Wrapped Mac and Cheese Bites
Great portion sized bacon wrapped mac and cheese bites that are perfect for toddlers and to freeze for later.
Prepare the mac and cheese. You can use a box, homemade, or even leftover from a restaurant. I've tried it will all 3 and it comes out great. Usually, simply because it's easier, I use a box of Annie's Homegrown Organic.
If desired, mix in your pre-cooked vegetable.
Cook the bacon slightly, you don't want it to become too crispy, it needs to remain flexible.
Line each cup of the muffin tin with 1 strip of bacon. Make sure it overlaps itself so that it will stick and hold.
Spoon mac and cheese into each cup inside of the bacon. Fill it to the top.
Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of each cup.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve and Enjoy!
You can wrap and freeze any extras.
